Well after doing a searches on my favorite music artists over the past few months, I have now decided each quarter for a particular artist or a particular music genre.

This weekend, I will decide the artist/genre for the first quarter starting in January, 2009.  I post Indie Rock, Hip Hop, very few Country, Hard Rock, etc.

Put-in-Bay, Ohio Christmas in July 2008 is set.

When: July 24 – 26
Where:  Put-in-Bay, Ohio

Theme: Christmas in July is the busiest time of year on the island.  There are a number of bar contests, prizes, costumes, christmas themes, etc.

Friends of ours took us to South Park Tavern (on Wayne Street) one night to see this band. I became an instant fan after watching the band the entire night.

They are putting out an album on July 19th.

The Mid-May trip to PIB was simply awesome. 

One of the highlights of the trip was getting to see the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.

The exhibits were pretty cool to see up close and in-person.

Then it was a nice drive over to the island on a sunny, beautiful day.

We stayed at a new bed and breakfast.  It was nice waking up to a lake side view during the weekend.  And of course, I had to eat my lake perch. 

The wine was already in full season swing, so this year I bought a new wine from Heineman’s Winery called the, “Gewürztraminer”.    It was a sweet, white wine that was a bit different than I am used to drinking from this winery.  http://www.heinemanswinery.com

Our second trip will be during the 2008 Christmas in July.  (More information to follow later.)

Well I finally was able to fix the cool “Countdown” feature on MADDIN.NET.  Its located on the right hand side of the website under Search.

I am in the mist of fixing the Family Section of the website.  I am working out a couple of bugs in the widget/pluggin.

The Maddin’s want to welcome our newest family member Zee.  Zee is a blue chinese betta fish.   He has a nice bowl, basic blue rocks, and a single plant.

He currently sits on the computer desk hutch and has a fantastic window view!  The little Maddin chose him amongst various of other betta fish with all sorts of colors.  But she basically said, “Blue.” 

Hence Zee’s trip home!
